Headhunting companies and Gen Z hiring

The year 2020 earmarked the entry of Generation Z to the world of work. The headhunting Indonesia companies believe from their experience that the Generation Z is entirely different from their predecessors.

As per the surveys, nearly 43% of Gen Z hires aspires to stay with their first full time job for a period of more than 3 years, while 43% aspires to leave the same after serving a period of 2 years in quest for better opportunities.

Since Gen Z is going to be the future business leaders, here are certain important things which are being kept in mind by headhunting Indonesia companies while hiring Gen Z:

  • PROFESSIONAL PROFILES
87% Gen Z people build their professional profiles online on LinkedIn like websites and prefer their recruiters to go through the same at the time of capturing details about them. This generation believes in building their online brand.

  • PERSONAL PROFILES
Gen Zers also desires their headhunters to take a look at their personal profiles on different social media platforms in order to give recruiters an idea how the potential employee is and determine whether or not they fit into the company. The recruiters gain great insights about prospective candidates through the personal profiles.

  • REACHING OUT
Gen Zers have some hard rules about reaching out to them. They never appreciate being approached on personal social media platforms by recruitment companies. They prefer traditional modes such as email correspondence, professional websites or professional networks for being approached for job openings. They are bold in their ways, but quite reserved when it is about communication.
